Arrival by air is possible quite a lot every day. Destination airport is Athens. Here you can take a taxi or a bus E96 (directly from the airport, every 20 minutes) to Piraeus. Those are the ports from where the hydrofoils or catamarans (Flying-Dolphin, -Cat) go to Ermioni or Porto-Heli. The duration of the crossing takes about 1,75 - 2,5 hours and is always a great experience. If you prefer going by your own car, you can take several ferries from Venice, Ancona, Bari or Brindisi which depart different hours a day to Patras. From there you drive towards Athens on a motorway. Not far from the Corinth channel, the road passes an amazing landscape to Kranidi and Porto-Heli via Epidavros. |
