Sardinia, the "little continent" is perhaps one of the Mediterranean’s last insider tips. In no other region of Italy is the 1849 km stretch of coastline as varied as on Sardinia. Sardinia boasts long, snow-white beaches, secluded inlets with crystal-clear water, and a stunning sea with turquoise to emerald-green waters.

Cala Coda Cavallo

A legend dating back hundreds of years tries to explain the charm and untamed beauty of the island: After God created the world he was left with some boulders which he tossed into the sea and compacted with his foot. This is how Sardinia received the shape of a footprint. God was not completely satisfied with his creation; it looked too bare. So he took his most beautiful creations from every corner of the world and changed this rocky desert into a paradise!
