The estate "Aschey"
is one of the ancient farms on the hillsides (300 m above sea level)
of the city of Werdohl, a small town with 22.000 inhabitants in the
low mountain range of the "Sauerland".
With indoor swimming
pool (open during the winter season, about 1 km from the house), open
air swimming pool, an air field, riding stable and a rich tourist area
with a number of dams, castles and open air festivals the region offers
plenty of change.

Additional to the mansion described here the property (90 acres) comprises
a number of farm buildings and an old farm garden.We no longer run the
property as a farm ourselves but during the summer season cattle are
grazing on the meadows.
If you are looking
for a relaxing place, would like to stroll through your "own" forest,
enjoy for your children the possibility to build tree houses or just
to feed the cows, then this is the right place to be. Cologne and the
Rhine river valley are good for a day trip.
