The Balagne is a fertile coastal strip on the north-west coast between Ile Rousse and Calvi, framed by the foothills of the central Corsican mountains. You'll find charming villages, surrounded by gardens and fields, olive groves, vineyards, almond and orange trees. On the coast attract beautiful beaches and ancient cities such as Calvi with its citadel, or the streets and the marketplace of Ile Rousse.
