The village Salem is located in the middle of the north coast of Jamaica, 1,5 km east from Runaway Bay and about 20 km west from St.Anns Bay. The location is favorable to make trips to the several famous places.
The properties of the natives , mostly dont show evidence of welfare, but they are friendly, hospital and positive. Circuumstances and people are so colored and impressing, hardly to find anywhere else.
In the village the tourist can find several Hotel- and appartment facilities, restaurants, diving bases, supermarkets, shops and car rentals. It takes about 15 min to the beach. The beach in Runaway Bay is 1,5 km far.

Because the common transportation means of the people is the minibus, the tourists have the possibility to use it as well for a low price. They are nearly anywhere available and visitors find it generally a special experience to use it.
Moreover there are possiblities to rent a taxi or a small bus with driver for reasonable prices (But it is important to agree about the price before the trip).
So it is “No problem” to reach Bob Marleys birthplace, the Dunns River Falls or the Blue Mountains. On the Blue Mountains have visitors the possibility to buy the best coffee of the world directly from a farmer.
From the airport to the accommodation, guests can take Pick up service, taxi or mini bus as well. Guests will be advised by request.
